The Fiesta of Our Lady of the Abandoned is a religious festival attended by large crowds. The participants in the procession start at the cathedral square, make their way round the centre of the old city and conclude in La Plaza de la Virgen.

The clothes are traditional Valenciano festival dress. There are many shops in the old city selling the clothes, fabric and jewellery. It is all extremely expensive.
